A New Adventure

I know it has been quite a long time since you’ve heard from me but ‘things are a changing’ around here! For the last several months, if you would have seen me, I would have and either a paintbrush or a hammer in my hand instead of a camera.

Steve and I have finally made the decision to move full time into Waldo. I will be recounting stories of our travels in my new blog, The Wandering Rver. We are hoping to be on the road by June. So much to do before it can happen. We have a potential buyer for the business – keeping fingers crossed! Part of the plan hinges on selling the shop. Then, we have to sell the house. If you’ve ever tried to sell a home, you know all the work that goes into getting it ready!

First, you have to get rid of all the “stuff”. Did someone say yardsale? The next sale will be a Moving Sale!  It’s all gotta go!

Then you have to make old things look new again…

You may have to put in new floors…

You most certainly have to paint everything from baseboards to ceilings…

“Diesel! If you are going to lay touching the wet paint, the least you could do it put a paintbrush on your tail to touch up the paint!!!!”

“But Mommy! I’m confused! Where are we going?”

“Well, Diesel, we are going to start by changing our state of residency to Florida!”

I would like to thank everyone who has followed along for these last few years. It has been a real pleasure taking you along on my tour of New Hampshire. I apologize for not getting to every town, but I will try to visit at least a few more before we start to wander!

Thank You all!
