Hebron

Hebron is a small town with a lot of character and beauty. There is a lovely park in the center of town. It is ringed by the town offices, churches, the post office and the village store…

There are a lot of fancy houses along the shores of Newfound Lake, but, if I had my choice, I’d live here…

The colors of fall are really starting to show their stuff…

I’ve remarked several times that road names are often misleading. I’ve never seen a mockingbird on Mockingbird Lane or a deer on Deer Run Road. So when I turned onto Panorama Lane, I wasn’t expecting too much. For once I was happy to be wrong. It is a very short dead end road, but certainly worth the visit!

Thanks for coming along!

You find some of the most gorgeous spots in New Hampshire! I have no idea where Hebron is but now I have to look it up. So many wonderful hidden treasures. I’m with you on road names, who thinks these things up???

I share some of the same pleasure exploring the back roads of Maine.

It’s amazing what you can find, right in your own back yard! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This seems like the town most likely to fit people’s idea of what a New England town should be. That view is spectacular!

It is a quintessential New England town. The view was astounding!

I think I’d like to live in that house too.

Over the weekend my blog was hacked and I’ve had to take it down. Right now I’m going through the process of starting again on http://www.iwalkalone.co.uk and salvaging what I can from the old one. I tell you this because, if I hadn’t backed up, I’d have lost it all for good. As it is I have lost some and the rebuilding is going to be a long term project. Laura, if you haven’t backed up do it now! This is happening to lots if people and it’s soul destroying.
