This week, I’m going to try a little different approach to the blog. I’m going to include an interactive map showing some of the highlights, instead of giving you turn by turn directions. There isn’t a road, paved or otherwise, where you can’t see something beautiful or breathtaking. If you click on a pin on the map, it will show you why I stopped there.
I made several trips to Dublin this week, a couple by myself and one joined by my husband. I’ve included some of his photography as well because we all see things differently. What catches my eye isn’t always the same as what he sees. And I’ve included some of my older photographs.
Dublin center has everything you could need for a New Hampshire postcard, including the home of Yankee Publishing…
Two landscape features dominate most views in Dublin; Mount Monadnock and Dublin Lake…
Lake Road offers a chance to see some of amazing houses that dot the shores of Dublin Lake, many of which are fronted by incredible stone walls…
There are also a large number of farms in Dublin. Some are still working farms, while others offer us a chance to see the effects of time…
At the Dublin Lake Golf Course …
I found many other things that caught my eye…
Steve and I were able to catch moonrise/sunset at Mud Pond…
We didn’t come close to covering all of Dublin, but I hope we’ve given you a taste, a desire to get out and see it for yourself!
